Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to manage daily activities, and a drive to support the overall development of each child.

Responsibilities
*Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting.
*Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
*Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
*Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to explore and learn.
*Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
*Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
*Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance childcare skills.
Requirements
*Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred.
*A background in early childhood education or related field is advantageous.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
*Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
*A genuine passion for childcare and supporting children’s development.
*Ability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
*A valid driving licence is desirable but not essential.
