MET Technician Required, in Derby
Are you an experienced MET Technician seeking a rewarding position within a prestigious Accident Repair Centre in Derby? Our client, a leading provider of high-end vehicle repairs, is actively recruiting for a skilled MET Technician to join their specialised team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who values quality workmanship and technical excellence.

*Competitive basic salary up to £45,000, with an OTE exceeding £55,000
*No weekend working required, allowing for a better work-life balance
*22 days holiday plus bank holidays
*Flexible working hours available, with contracts of 40, 42.5, or 45 hours per week
*Ongoing training and technical development, including Electric Vehicle (EV) certifications

Duties:
*Stripping and refitting mechanical, electrical, and trim components with precision
*Preparing vehicles to high standards for repair and handover
*Diagnosing faults accurately using diagnostic equipment
*Identifying and reporting additional repairs or work required
*Collaborating effectively with colleagues and Bodyshop Advisors
*Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and expertise
Requirements:
*Proven experience as an MET Technician within a Bodyshop or Accident Repair Centre environment
*Previous experience working on prestige or high-value vehicles (desirable)
*Ability to work independently, taking ownership of assigned tasks
*Competent in the use of diagnostic tools and computer systems
*ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
*Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
