We are working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Brighton who are looking to appoint an Experienced Payroller to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys managing a varied client portfolio and taking ownership of the payroll process within a supportive and collaborative environment.


The Role

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
*Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
*Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors
*Submitting RTI reports and ensuring HMRC compliance
*Administering statutory payments including SSP, SMP, and SPP
*Handling payroll queries from clients and providing clear, professional advice
*Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring deadlines are met
*Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and best practice


About You

*Proven experience in a payroll role, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau environment
*Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and processes
*Experience managing multiple payrolls and working to tight deadlines
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
*Confident using payroll software
