Fuels Technician
£35,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Permanent | Full-Time | Office-Based

You’ll be deeply involved in complex fuel formulation projects, working on bespoke products, tackling real technical challenges and collaborating closely with customers and internal teams. Your Day-to-Day*Leading multiple technical projects from concept through to delivery
*Formulating bespoke fuel blends using modelling tools and empirical methods
*Troubleshooting technical issues across production, logistics and commercial areas
*Supporting customer meetings with expert pre- and post-sales technical input
*Identifying new applications and opportunities for product innovation
*Assisting with raw material specification, sourcing, testing and approval
*Driving best-practice processes and continuous improvement initiatives
*Mentoring and supporting colleagues within the technical team
*Ensuring all work aligns with strict HSE and quality standards
What We’re Looking For*A degree in Chemistry (or equivalent) – essential
*Minimum 2 years’ laboratory experience, ideally within fuels, chemicals or a regulated environment
*Experience managing technical or project-based work
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
*Confident communicator who enjoys collaboration and knowledge-sharing
*Comfortable working in a fully office-based role
*Full UK driving licence and own transport required due to site location
What’s on Offer*Salary circa £35,000 per annum
*Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (37.5 hours per week)
*Office-based position
*25 days annual leave + bank holidays
*10% discretionary annual bonus (paid in January, pro rata)
*Private healthcare
*Pension scheme
