Vehicle Technician Required in Billericay

Our client, a well-established and respected automotive service provider, is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive professionals to work in a well-equipped Workshop, with the chance to develop their technical abilities and enjoy a supportive working environment.

Key Benefits:

*1-in-2 Saturday mornings, 8:00am to 1:00pm, with time off during the week

Duties:
*Conduct routine servicing and repairs across various makes and models
*Diagnose electronic and electrical systems to accurately identify faults
*Troubleshoot complex vehicle issues using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools
*Repair and replace electronic components as necessary
*Maintain accurate repair reports and communicate effectively with team members
*Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well-organised
*Adhere to health and safety policies and industry standards
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy automotive environment
*Strong diagnostic skills, particularly with electronic systems
*Ability to work independently and efficiently as a Vehicle Technician
*Full UK driving license
*Relevant industry qualifications or certificates (e.g., IMI, NVQ)
*Experience working on a variety of vehicles, with a good mechanical foundation
*Knowledge of German vehicles is an advantage but not essential
*Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*Flexibility to work varied hours, including Saturdays on a rota basis
