Job Description:
Finance Manager, Coventry
Full time (4 days considered) | Permanent | £35-40k | Hybrid Working
The Role
3 Point Recruitment are looking for a confident and approachable Finance Manager to join a friendly and collaborative team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the day to day finance function while also playing a key part in shaping financial insight and supporting decision making across the organisation.
You’ll work closely with colleagues from different teams, helping them understand their budgets, plan ahead, and make informed choices. Alongside this, you’ll lead a small finance team and ensure everything runs smoothly, from monthly reporting through to audit and compliance.
If you enjoy a role where no two days are quite the same, and you like combining detail focused work with bigger picture thinking - this could be a great fit!
What You’ll Be Doing
*Leading the month-end process and making sure everything is accurate and on time
*Preparing monthly management accounts, with clear and helpful insights
*Overseeing day to day finance activities such as payroll, tax and income tracking
*Supporting teams with budgeting and forecasting, helping them plan with confidence
*Developing useful financial reports and KPIs to support decision-making
*Acting as a go-to person for financial advice across the organisation
*Managing and supporting a small finance team, helping them grow and succeed
*Keeping systems and processes running efficiently, and looking for ways to improve them
*Preparing for audit and working closely with external auditors
*Building strong relationships with external partners like banks and payroll providers
*Monitoring income from different streams and ensuring everything is recorded correctly
Candidates Will Have / Be
You’re someone who enjoys taking ownership and bringing structure and clarity to finance. You’re just as comfortable getting into the detail as you are stepping back to see the bigger picture, and you enjoy working with people across different teams.
*Has solid experience in finance, including reporting, budgeting, and compliance
*Can turn numbers into clear, meaningful insights
*Has experience managing or mentoring others, or is ready to step into that space
*Is approachable and confident working with non-finance colleagues
*Is well organised, proactive and has great attention to detail
*Is a qualified accountant or has equivalent hands-on experience
*Is keen to keep learning and developing professionally
