Digital Marketing Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £30,475 – £32,698 per annum depending on qualifications and experience
Closing Date: Friday 17 April 2026 (noon)
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30 (35 hours per week) Site-based role.
Reduced hours in the School holidays may be possible.
Flexibility is needed to attend key School events such as open days/evenings, school events and some external events.
About the Role
Luckley House School is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic Marketing and Admissions team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the School’s online presence and promoting its values, achievements, and community. You will work closely with colleagues to create engaging digital content, manage social media platforms, and support marketing campaigns that showcase the unique offerings of Luckley House School.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan, create, and publish engaging content for the School’s social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
*Capture and edit photos, videos, and graphics to highlight school life, events, and achievements.
*Maintain a consistent tone of voice and visual identity in line with the School’s brand guidelines.
*Monitor social media activity, respond to comments/messages, and escalate safeguarding or reputational concerns as needed.
*Update and maintain the School’s website content using the content management system (CMS), ensuring accuracy and alignment with admissions priorities.
*Assist in the creation and distribution of email campaigns, newsletters, and event invitations.
*Support paid digital campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads.
*Promote school events, including open days, productions, sports fixtures, and concerts.
*Collaborate with the Luckley community to identify positive stories and content opportunities.
*Provide general support to the Marketing and Admissions Department, including administrative tasks during busy periods.
Requirements
*A good standard of general education; a degree or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
*Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
*Proficiency in CANVA, photo and video editing software, and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite).
*Strong photography and filmography skills.
*Excellent written and oral communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and familiarity with database software (e.g., SIMS).
*A proactive attitude, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
*Empathy with the Christian ethos of the School.
*A full driving licence and access to own transport.
