Customer Service Executive

An established organisation is seeking a Customer Service Executive to join its busy Administration and Customer Service team. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day office operations, delivering high standards of customer service, coordinating delivery requirements, making informed haulage decisions and providing general administrative support within a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day Duties of the role:
*Handle transport-related issues via phone and email, ensuring smooth delivery processes.
*Proactively forward calls to sites to avoid delivery issues.
*Manage requests for PODs, invoices, and statements, and ensure all PODs are reconciled and uploaded to the database promptly.
*Verify quotes and purchase orders to ensure pricing accuracy.
*Update order changes on the internal database and manage the inbox efficiently.
*Input data and learn to process customer orders on Sage, providing cover for the sales team during holidays or sickness.
*Maintain records and filing systems, adhering to administrative standards.
*Remain commercially aware and represent the company professionally to maintain high-quality customer relationships.

*Good IT literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office and basic skills in Sage Line 50.

*Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of work.
