Job Description:
Key responsibilities includes:
*Preparation of financial statements and support through the external audit process
*Delivery of daily P&L reporting, including variance analysis and commentary
*Supporting regulatory submissions to UK regulators
*Assisting with VAT and Corporation Tax reporting
*Performing balance sheet reconciliations and control checks
*Investigating and resolving discrepancies across the general ledger
*Maintaining and improving financial controls and processes
*Supporting finance projects and driving process enhancements
About You
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
*Experience within a banking
*Strong understanding of financial reporting and controls
*Exposure to regulatory reporting is highly desirable
*Hedge accounting
*Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
*Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
*Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders
