3rd Line Support Engineer
Location: Cheltenham (Hybrid working)
Salary: £45,000–£48,000

Our client, a leading IT services provider, is hiring a 3rd Line Support Engineer to play a key role in delivering high-level technical support and infrastructure expertise. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse client base, resolving complex issues and contributing to ongoing service improvement.
What you’ll do:
*Provide 3rd line support across a range of infrastructure technologies
*Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents and escalations
*Support and maintain servers, networks, and cloud environments
*Assist with project delivery, including system upgrades and migrations
*Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing
You’ll work closely with service desk teams, infrastructure specialists, and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
*Proven experience in a 3rd line support role
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, O365, Azure)
*Experience with networking (firewalls, switches, VPNs)
*Virtualisation experience (e.g. VMware or Hyper-V)
*Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
