The company offers a fantastic office environment, with its success founded on the quality and wellbeing of its team. It is committed to achieving mutual benefits through ongoing professional development and works with private developers and local authority clients across a range of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, renewable energy, transport infrastructure, and local development planning.

Your responsibilities:

*Undertaking site environmental assessments and baseline data collection
*Report writing and associated administrative duties

Role requirements:
*A qualification in a relevant subject
*Knowledge of UK legislation relating to environmental assessment, planning, and nature conservation
*Excellent written English, strong communication skills, and numerical literacy
*Experience in producing high-quality written reports
Desirable experience includes knowledge of UK environmental assessment regimes, with exposure to one or more of Sustainability Appraisal, Strategic Environmental Assessment, Habitats Regulations Assessment, and Environmental Impact Assessment. Experience using GIS software, particularly ArcGIS, and the ability to work collaboratively with other environmental disciplines as part of a multidisciplinary team would also be advantageous.

What does this role offer you?
*The opportunity to develop practical experience in environmental assessment techniques
*ISEP membership and a dedicated personal development budget
*Competitive salary and benefits package
*Contributory pension scheme
*Private medical insurance and 31 days’ annual leave
The anticipated start date for this role is Summer 2026. The company would be open to considering a part-time arrangement to allow for dissertation completion over the summer, with progression to a full-time role from September 2026.
