Operations Supervisor

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking an Operations Supervisor to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor will include:
*Ensure operations comply with bank policies, regulations, and best practices
*Deliver consistently high-quality customer service
*Process client data, transactions, and cashiering activities
*Manage customer onboarding, account opening, cards, and online banking
*Support team with a flexible, responsible, and proactive approach
*Complete transactions accurately and within deadlines
*Ensure loan drawdown conditions are met in coordination with Credit Risk
*Set up approved credit facilities on core systems
*Maintain limits for trading, customers, counterparties, and settlements
*Escalate risks to management and report through proper channels
*Manage Treasury counterparties as required
*Support and deliver project-related tasks on time
*Process loans, deposits, rollovers, renewals, and repayments per procedures
*Maintain and update customer mandates
*Review and update operations procedures and desk instructions
*Investigate and resolve queries/discrepancies; maintain logs and evidence
*Ensure all transactions comply with risk controls, AML, and compliance requirements
*Escalate risks/issues to relevant stakeholders promptly
*Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and changes
*Maintain high processing accuracy with minimal errors or complaints
*Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and product knowledge standards
*Support reporting/MI production for management
*Complete additional tasks as assigned by line manager
*Comply with regulatory obligations, training, and reporting of breaches
*Support operational resilience, training, and incident response
The candidate will have:
*Degree-level education or equivalent experience in banking/financial services
*Minimum 5 years’ banking experience
*Strong understanding of banking operations and processes
*Proficient in banking technology
*Knowledge of Equation Banking system (advantageous)
*Keeps up to date with new banking products
