Job Description:
Kennedys is looking for a HR Operations and Data Advisor to join our HR team. The HR Operations and Data Advisor plays a key role in ensuring the integrity, governance, and effective use of HR data across Kennedys. This role combines data analysis, reporting, and operational support to enable informed decision-making, drive process improvements, and support the delivery of core HR initiatives globally, working closely with the HR Systems team in IT and the global HR leadership team.


Offering hybrid working. Flexible and part time working will also be considered.


Team
The Kennedys HR team support the firm around the world with all people related matters.
The HR team is based in various locations globally across Kennedys’ five regions; APAC, EMEA, US, LATAM and UK. The areas of HR that we have responsibility for are Business Partnering, Talent, Recruitment, Responsible Business, Operations, and Reward.
You will be working in a fast-paced, demanding, and global environment as we strive to make a difference for our people, clients and communities where we work.
Key responsibilities
HR Data Reporting and Governance
*Maintain accurate, consistent, and up-to-date employee data across HR systems, ensuring full GDPR compliance.
*Produce regular and ad hoc HR reporting, providing data insights to HR leadership and other key stakeholders.
*Analyse HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
*Act as a subject matter expert for HR data, responding to queries and supporting data interpretation across the firm.
*Support the development and optimisation of HR analytics and reporting frameworks, driving continuous improvement in data quality, reporting and data governance practices.
Compliance
*Ensure HR processes and data handling practices comply with GDPR and internal policies.
*Monitor adherence to firmwide data retention schedule and support secure data management and storage practices.
*Support global document collation for internal audits, risk reviews, and compliance checks.
Operational
*Collaborate closely with the HR Operations Manager on the delivery of core HR initiatives and operational activities.
*Assist in managing the global HR budget,including tracking expenditure, liaising with Finance, and supporting forecasting and reforecasting
*Coordinate HR communications in collaboration with the Internal Communications team.
*Maintain and manage shared HR resources, trackers and calendars to support effective planning and delivery across the HR team.
*Provide ad hoc support for global HR and Investment Portfolio projects (e.g.employee engagement survey).
*Support the planning and delivery of HR town halls and team updates.
Required experience
*Proven experience in HR operations, data-focused HR, people analytics, or reporting role.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable insights.
*Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation, reporting).
*Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and GDPR principles in an HR context.
*High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
*Highly organised, ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
*Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
*Experience producing HR dashboards, visualisations and effective storytelling with data; familiarity with tools such as Power BI, desirable
*Previous experience working in a global law firm or professional services organisation, desirable
