We are partnering with a respected professional services firm seeking a Corporate Tax Director to lead and grow its corporate tax practice. This senior leadership role combines technical expertise, commercial insight, and team leadership to deliver high-value solutions to a diverse client base.
Role OverviewAs Corporate Tax Director, you will lead the firm’s corporate tax offering, managing complex client engagements, and developing a high-performing tax team. You will act as a trusted advisor to businesses ranging from owner-managed and entrepreneurial firms to larger and multinational clients.
Key Responsibilities*Lead delivery of both compliance and high-level corporate tax advisory services, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
*Provide strategic tax planning support, including R&D tax relief, capital allowances, reorganisations, and transactional work.
*Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the principal point of contact for key assignments.
*Oversee and mentor the corporate tax team, fostering technical excellence and professional development.
*Support business development initiatives, identifying and winning new opportunities.
*Ensure effective risk management and compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Candidate Profile*Recognised professional tax qualification (ACA / ACCA and CTA or equivalent).
*Extensive corporate tax experience within professional services or a similar advisory environment.
*Proven leadership experience, including team management and mentoring.
*Strong commercial awareness and ability to deliver strategic tax solutions.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
