About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Finance Assistant to join our busy team based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced industrial environment, supporting key financial operations and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing payroll accurately and on time
*Managing purchase ledger activities, including invoice processing and supplier payments
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
*Assisting with month-end procedures
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
About You:
*Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
*Strong understanding of payroll and purchase ledger processes
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Good communication and organisational skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
