Housing Support Worker (Temp to Perm) Location: Coventry
Pay Rate: £18 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to join a supportive and well-established service working with adults, including individuals recently released from probation services.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in housing, substance misuse, or employability support who is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals move towards independence.
Key Responsibilities*Provide 1:1 housing-related support to service users
*Develop and manage support plans tailored to individual needs
*Carry out health & safety and property checks
*Support clients with budgeting and financial management
*Conduct risk assessments and manage medium-risk cases
*Assist with benefits, tenancy sustainment, and life skills
About You*Experience in housing support, substance misuse, or employability services
*Comfortable working with medium-risk clients, including ex-offenders
*Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
*Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
