Litigation Solicitor (NQ+)
*Annual Salary: Circa £45,000 – £55,000, dependent on experience
*Location: Caterham

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Litigation Solicitor (or above) to join a well-established and growing litigation team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to focus predominantly on civil litigation, offering exposure to a varied and mixed caseload and providing an ideal platform for professional development. While aimed at NQ level, candidates with post-qualification experience are also encouraged to apply, especially those with a strong background in litigation.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through to resolution.
*Advise clients on litigation strategy, prospects of success, and risk.
*Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents.
*Conduct legal research and review evidence.
*Engage in negotiations and alternative dispute resolution where appropriate.
*Instruct and liaise with counsel and external experts.
*Represent clients at hearings where appropriate.
*Maintain high standards of client care and compliance at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
*Minimum Newly Qualified level (higher PQE also welcomed).
*Training or experience within civil litigation.
*Strong drafting, analytical, and case management skills.
*Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to manage multiple matters effectively and meet deadlines.
*A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach.
