Job Description:
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, proactive Temporary Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the newly appointed CEO. This is a fast-paced, high-trust role where you will act as a key interface between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
*Proactive, confidential EA support to the CEO
*Complex diary and inbox management, including prioritisation and drafting responses
*Planning and coordinating internal and external meetings, events, and hybrid setups
*Preparing briefings and handling confidential correspondence
*Supporting wider office systems and processes
*Providing holiday cover for other EAs as needed
Your Experience:
*Significant EA experience supporting senior leaders
*Strong electronic diary and inbox management skills
*Confident user of Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
*Proactive, self-starting, and calm under pressure
*Excellent judgement, discretion, and emotional intelligence
*Experience improving processes and organising high-profile events


Job Title: Temporary Executive Assistant (6 months)
Location: York (hybrid - 2 days per week in office, plus additional days to support the CEO)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Up to £40,000 (pro rata, equivalent to approx. £21.98 per hour)
Contract: Temporary, 6 months
