The Accounts & Tax Senior will oversee accounting and tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting for clients within the professional services industry. Description
*Prepare and review statutory accounts for a range of clients, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
*Handle personal tax computations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
*Provide clients with tailored advice on tax planning and compliance matters.
*Support junior team members by reviewing their work and offering guidance as needed.
*Assist in preparing VAT returns and resolving any related queries.
*Communicate effectively with clients to address queries and provide updates on their financial matters.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting and tax legislation.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Profile
A successful Accounts & Tax Senior should have:
*Professional qualifications in accounting or tax, such as AAT or ATT.
*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations in the professional services industry.
*Experience in preparing accounts and tax returns for a variety of clients.
*Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing workloads efficiently.
