Job Description:
An amazing opportunity has come available for a Senior HR Business Partner to join this fantastic organisation on a permanent basis.
This role will include travel 2-3 days a week around the Home Counties including Essex, Bedfordshire, Cambridge and Hertfordshire, the other days will be home based.
You will be responsible for providing business-focussed generalist HR advice, guidance and interventions across a geographical area or collection of operational programmes / departments. Duties will primarily focus on the professional areas of Performance & Reward, Employee Relations, Resource and Talent Planning and Organisational Design. The Senior HR Business Partner will also be expected to contribute to and support the implementation of Employee Engagement and Organisational Development activities along with ensuring they liaise effectively with the HR Services team to ensure that all contractual administration and payroll activities can be delivered accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:
*Provide both pro-active and reactive support to line management through the delivery of appropriate coaching and training to ensure that management are capable of delivering effective and timely performance management interventions.
*Develops constructive relationships with Co-Members and management teams which foster an environment conducive to the early escalation of issues/concerns so that they can, where possible, be resolved in a timely informal manner.
*Influence senior management’s manpower planning decisions to ensure that adequate consideration is given to contractual changes (implementation inc. TUPE, wind-down, variations), flight risks, current and future competency requirements (across the business), such that proactive resourcing interventions can be put in place in a timely and appropriate manner to meet current and anticipated business needs.
*Advise management on desired organisational changes and the best, most cost-effective methods of achieving these, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum redeployment of excellent talent.
*Maintain a consistent approach to organisational design, monitoring for inefficiencies, inequities or poor job design to ensure optimum performance in role taking correction action where required
Experience & Qualifications:
*Must either be a Chartered Member (Chartered MCIPD) or an Associate Member (Assoc MCIPD) currently working towards Chartered Membership Status or be Qualified By Experience.
*Experience of advising management on employee relations issues including facilitation of disciplinary and grievance proceedings.
*Experience of managing restructuring exercises preferably involving the full cycle of HR interventions (proposal, consultation, decision, redeployment).
