Looking for a detail-oriented Data Migration Specialist to support a short-term project focused on migrating finance reporting data into a newly implemented system with a leading production studios. This is a hands-on, technical role suited to someone who is comfortable working with structured financial data, following defined processes, and delivering accurate results under guidance.
The systems are already in place, and the migration is being led by a senior team member. This role will focus on executing key data migration tasks rather than managing the project, with a strong emphasis on finance reporting processes and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
*Extract finance and reporting data from legacy systems
*Transform and format data into templates compatible with NetSuite
*Perform data mapping aligned to finance reporting structures
*Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data
*Support migration of key reporting elements (e.g. ledgers, reporting hierarchies, structured outputs)
*Follow established processes and detailed instructions for data handling
*Replicate data structures and transformations as required
*Support validation and reconciliation of migrated finance data
Skills & Experience Required
*Proven experience in data migration, ideally within finance or reporting environments
*Strong understanding of finance data structures and reporting processes
*Experience with data mapping and system-to-system data transfers
*High attention to detail, particularly with numerical and financial data
*Ability to follow structured instructions and repeat processes consistently
*Comfortable working on repetitive, detail-heavy tasks
*Familiarity with NetSuite and/or finance systems (desirable but not essential)

Contract Length: 3 months (potential extension)
Day Rate: £350 per day inside IR35
