SEN Teaching Assistant – Croydon
Location: Croydon
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Croydon.
The role involves supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:*Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
*Assist in delivering tailored learning activities
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
*Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
*Monitor and record pupil progress
Requirements:*Experience working with children with SEN (in school or similar setting)
*Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
