Accounts Assistant
Location: Liphook / Hybrid
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Assistant to join our UK finance team. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, supporting three UK entities and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
If you enjoy cash management, juggling priorities, and being the go-to person in a busy finance function, this could be a great next step for you.
What you’ll be doing
*Managing UK cash flow, short- and medium-term forecasting and FX reporting
*Posting and paying supplier invoices, managing payment runs and supplier queries
*Raising sales invoices, managing credit control and weekly debtor reporting
*Reconciling multiple bank accounts and maintaining accurate ledger entries
*Supporting expense processing, credit cards and policy compliance
*Line managing and supporting a Finance Administrator
*Helping improve finance processes and training colleagues on systems
What we’re looking for
*AAT Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
*Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable background
*At least 4 years’ experience in a multi-national SME environment
*Confident with Excel and finance systems (Sage Intacct experience is a plus)
*Organised, accurate and comfortable working under pressure
*Personable, resilient and able to work independently
