Location: Bedford
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Electronic Technician on behalf of one of our clients.
To provide and manage processes that support many of the functions which are the responsibility of the Equipment Engineering/Facilities group.
Applications from ex-military candidates are actively encouraged, however all candidates will be given due consideration.
This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours pw,
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Optimisation of equipment availability by way of reactive attendance to unscheduled lost time, preventative maintenance, upgrades and projects.
*Involvement in improvement projects and their implementation planning.
*Operating within a multi-shift, multi-skilled team environment sharing knowledge gained.
*Recording all actions onto provided systems for ensuring traceability and historical analysis.
*Calibration of all equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
*HNC / HND Electrical/Electronic Engineering Apprenticeship or similar training.
*Experience of employment in a similar environment or a placement where similar skills are used.
*Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams.
*Flexible approach to work and multi-tasking as required.
*Ability to work effectively in a team.
*Clean driving licence.
