Role OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support the growth of our Buy-to-Let (BTL) mortgage business. The role involves working closely with the origination and sales teams to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of mortgage cases, ensuring a seamless experience for brokers and customers while maintaining high service and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities*Support Buy-to-Let (BTL) sales activities by delivering excellent service to brokers and customers, while managing internal execution processes efficiently.
*Act as the primary liaison for intermediaries placing BTL business, ensuring a smooth journey across all stages including case submission, packaging, review, valuation, and completion.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers by keeping them informed about product offerings, lending criteria, and packaging requirements to ensure seamless processing.
*Regularly update Business Development Managers (BDMs) and brokers on case progress, outstanding requirements, and escalations. Maintain and track key MI reports to demonstrate pipeline performance.
*Manage and monitor the pipeline of mortgage cases, ensuring timely follow-ups and progression across all stages.
*Participate in business meetings, networking events, and industry engagements to promote brand awareness and identify new business opportunities.
*Undertake networking activities, when required, to build strong relationships with brokers, networks, and other stakeholders.
*Ensure strict adherence to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, while staying updated on compliance requirements.
*Effectively manage leads and milestones through proper tracking, diarising, and follow-ups to ensure timely case completion.
*Handle administrative tasks including reporting, communication, monitoring, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
*Assist brokers in case submissions (keying of cases) and ensure high-quality business is processed in line with lending standards.
*Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.
Key Skills & Requirements*Prior experience in mortgage processing or Buy-to-Let (BTL) lending preferred.
*Strong understanding of mortgage workflows, underwriting, and lending processes.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
*High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
*Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/mortgage systems.
