A warm, welcoming, and well-established Primary School in Watford are looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The team is passionate about early years education and committed to delivering high-quality care.
The Role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join a friendly team. You will play a key role in supporting children’s development through engaging activities, ensuring their wellbeing, and helping to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years
*Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
*Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
*Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
*Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
*Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
Requirements
*Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential)
*Previous nursery or early years experience preferred
*Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine passion for working with children
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
