Product Designer – Full-Time | Permanent
Are you a creative and technically skilled Product Designer looking to bring ideas to life from concept through to production? We are seeking a motivated individual to join a forward-thinking design team focused on developing innovative, high-quality products for global markets.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of product development, transforming ideas into manufacturable solutions. You’ll work across the full design lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging directly with customers to ensure products meet real-world needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop product concepts from initial idea through to production
*Create sketches, 3D CAD models, and detailed engineering drawings
*Build and test prototypes to refine designs
*Conduct market research and gather customer insights
*Visit clients to understand user needs and collect feedback
*Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
*Participate in tooling trials and product evaluations
*Ensure designs meet quality, durability, and performance standards
*Collaborate with wider teams to support product launches globally
What We’re Looking For
*Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field (minimum 2:1)
*Strong understanding of product design and development
*Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks)
*Creative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
*Practical experience in prototyping and model making
*Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods
*Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
*Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments
*Knowledge of plastics, metals, or other production processes
