If this sounds like you, then JMF Associates is partnering with a well-regarded firm, based in the Bromley area, that is looking for a Junior Payroll Assistant to join them permanently. Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working in a small yet supportive payroll team the Junior Payroll Assistant will:
* Train and assist with multi-company/country payroll operations on Sage payroll software
* Carry out general payroll duties both independently and under the supervision of the Payroll Manager or the Senior Payroll Administrator when the Payroll Manager is absent
* Train and keep up to date with statutory requirements of matters relating to the administration of a PAYE scheme
* Assist and calculate multi-pay frequency payrolls from start to finish, including any pay variables. Access the HMRC portal and download/implement new tax coding’s
* Assist the payroll team in providing monthly tax and NI payments and payroll reports to clients or accountants, whichever is appropriate
This role would suit someone with excellent A-Level and GCSE results with a keen interest in buidling a career in finance.
