We are inviting applications for a Business Teacher at our progressive secondary school located in Tower Hamlets. This role is perfect for a dynamic educator who is passionate about imparting business knowledge and preparing students for future careers in business and entrepreneurship.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging business studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*Foster a stimulating classroom environment that promotes enthusiasm for learning and discussion about business concepts and practices.
*Assess and evaluate students’ progress through both formative and summative assessments.
*Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and enhance student engagement.
*Participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching resources.
*Mentor and support students in their academic and personal development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Business Studies or a related field.
*Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level.
*Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
*Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
*Commitment to continuous professional development.
