Finance Assistant
Permanent
Part Time - 20 - 25 hours a week over 4/5days (4/5 hours a day - flexi hours)
Based in Crawley with parking (office based)
£27,000 - £30,000 per annum (pro rata)
Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new job opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a well-established SME business based in the Crawley area on a part time, permanent contract.
You will support the day-to-day financial operations, with a particular focus on both sales and purchase ledger activities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maintaining customer records
*Posting daily receipts and ensuring accurate allocation
*Handling customer queries via phone and email
*Sending monthly statements
*Supporting credit control alongside the Finance Manager
*Maintaining supplier records
*Posting stock and overhead invoices in a timely manner
*Processing and reconciling weekly commercial credit card transactions
*Supporting a timely purchase ledger close
*Managing the finance inbox and answering incoming calls
Key Requirements:
*Minimum of 2 years experience in a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant role
*Strong team player
*High attention to detail
*Confident using Excel and general IT systems
*Highly organised
