Are you an experienced Setting Out Engineer with a background in civil or rail infrastructure projects? Do you enjoy working on technically challenging builds and being part of major construction programmes?
My client is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to support the construction of a new rail station on a high-profile infrastructure project.
You will be responsible for setting out key elements including platforms and retaining walls, as well as carrying out QA checks and ensuring works are delivered in line with engineering and project standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Setting Out Engineer with rail experience to join a major infrastructure scheme on an Outside IR35 contract, playing a key role in delivering a new rail station project.

The Role:
* Setting out for key elements including platforms and retaining walls
* Carrying out quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Completing QA documentation including ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans)
* Interpreting and working from engineering drawings
* Ensuring all works are delivered in line with engineering and project standards

The Candidate:
* Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer within civil or rail infrastructure
* Strong experience with QA processes and ITPs
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
* PTS card (essential)
