Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive Office & Legal Administrator to support the smooth running of our London office. This role combines office management, facilities oversight, and legal administrative support, providing an excellent opportunity to be at the heart of a busy professional environment.
Office Administration:
*Manage the sourcing, replenishment, and upkeep of office materials, equipment, and consumables to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
*Coordinate cleaning services, waste disposal (including confidential waste), safety checks, and office maintenance to maintain a compliant and well-functioning environment.
*Supervise premises, facilities, and relationships with third-party contractors, under management oversight.
*Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and requirements, including health & safety, PAT testing, and fire safety procedures.
*Support office moves, layout changes, and renovations, including purchasing new furniture as required.
*Handle incoming and outgoing post, internal messenger duties, and courier deliveries.
*Maintain office security and safety systems, including door access, intruder alarms, and fire alarms.
*Provide general administrative support to fee-earning teams, including billing assistance and new matter take-on processes.
*Assist IT, HR, and other support departments with day-to-day administrative tasks and office-based support.
Requirements*Administration or secretarial qualification is advantageous.
*Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise effectively.
*Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
