Job Description:
12 month contract Inside IR35
Investment banking
50% London office travel


Key Responsibilities of role
*First point of contact for DEC business for client revenue queries and Finance for accounting issues
*Prepares and submits monthly Finance journals
*Performs client interest calculations and manages associated communication
*Performs daily CRDS Checks and escalate breaches to the DEC front office.
*Performs monthly BEACON controls in LAP
*Accountable for delivering personal targets and objectives to support the performance of the team under general guidance from more experienced Operations professionals.
*Assists and supports the Control &Revenue manager in ad hoc projects
*Assists in the training of new team members
*Suggest and drive initiates to support management in improving Team capability
*Provides support to strengthen, standardize and monitor the DEC collateral process and client revenues data production across all DEC locations
*Refers more complex and technical issues to more senior colleagues for resolution and advice in a timely manner, to ensure the clients and business receives the appropriate level of support


Skill, Experience & Competencies


*Knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) clearing and execution flows, markets, products and processes and able to translate knowledge and experience into recommendations to improve team operating practices
*Good understanding and ability to navigate systems and ability to use Excel at an intermediate level
*Good written and oral English skills in order to articulate technical issues associated to work area
*Excellent numerical skills essential
*Teamwork. Able to work collaboratively in a global fast paced environment
*Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize independently
*Operational risk awareness and ability to recognize and manage risk
*Results oriented
*Strategic thinking
*Ability to analyse large volumes of data
*Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
*Problem solving skills
*Previous experience in developing and performing reconciliations
*Working experience of collateral management processes
