Accounts Senior - Accountancy Practice, Doncaster
Barber McLelland are working in partnership with a dynamic accountancy firm who are recruiting an experienced practice accountant for the position of Accounts Senior.
The firm have experienced significant growth and anticipate this to continue, they support a varied client base of mainly SME’s across the region, providing these clients with a full range of accounting, audit, business advisory and taxation services.
Responsibilities and Duties
The role of Accounts Senior will be responsible for the following duties
*Manage an allocation of clients
*Preparation of Statutory Accounts to partner review
*Point of contact for a number of clients within an allocated portfolio
*Preparation of Business Tax
*Preparation of Management Accounts
*Manage client queries and issues
*Potential to develop audit experience if so desired (training to be provided if limited experience)
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working within a firm of accountants with the experience of preparing statutory and management accounts with minimum supervision, ideally a qualified ACA or ACCA or an individual who has developed significant practice experience without taking formal qualifications.
The role requires an enthusiastic individual who can at times work on their own initiative and is well organised, who is looking to work within a forward thinking, dynamic practice.

Salary Package
*Up to £40,000 (dependent upon experience)
