Management Accountant
15 month Fixed term contract
4 days a week in office (West End)
up to £43k
Must be able to start by end of May

I am actively recruiting for a 15 month Fixed Term contract for a renowned Hospitality brand. As an experienced Management you will need to be advanced with excel as this is used daily (SUMIF’s, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s). You will be a confident communicator with experience in dealing with senior stakeholders and someone who is naturally inquisitive and can pick up discrepancies easily - attention to detail is key. Ideally we would like someone to have come from a Retail or Hospitality background given the nature of the role and P&L’s however this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments, across multiple entities or locations
*Analyse and investigate variances against budget across key profit and loss lines
*Account for items such as deferred income and supplier-related adjustments
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
*Produce regular profit and loss reports and respond to related queries from stakeholders
*Maintain and update the fixed asset register
*Support budgeting and forecasting processes
*Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insight and support
*Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function
*Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
Candidate Specification:
*Previous management accountant experience necessary
*Part qualified accountant – sitting exams not exemptions
*Recent experience of multi-site experience either hospitality or retail
*Knowledge of MS Office and advanced Excel skills. Sage 1000 experience would be advantageous
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Confident relationship-builder who can engage and inspire internal teams
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
