Senior Finance Officer Glasgow | Hybrid & Flexi-time | 21 hours per week

£200-£300 per day | 3-month contract
The OpportunityThis is a part-time Senior Finance Officer role within a housing organisation, supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Finance, taking ownership of core reporting, supporting year-end, and helping keep the finance team running effectively.

The role is largely requiring regular office attendance.
What you’ll be doing*Prepare management accounts, budgets and forecasts
*Support year-end and statutory accounts
*Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
*Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
*Support financial reporting and decision-making
*Assist with day-to-day finance operations
What we’re looking forEssential
*Experience in a finance or management accounting role
*Strong experience preparing management accounts and budgets
*Confident working in a hands-on, standalone environment
*Strong Excel and finance systems experience
Desirable
*Experience in housing, charity or public sector
*Exposure to year-end and audit processes
