Job SummaryWe are looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Assistant to provide high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities*Activity Planning: Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with the EYFS framework.
*Child Development: Supporting children’s individual learning journeys and tracking their developmental milestones.
*Safety and Well-being: Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive classroom atmosphere while ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed.
*Observations: Carrying out regular observations and maintaining accurate records of children’s progress.
*Team Collaboration: Working effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth daily running of the setting.
*Parental Engagement: Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding their child’s daily activities and progress.
Job TypeFull-time, Long-term, Day-to-day opportunities available
Qualification and EducationLevel 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
ExperienceExperience working with young children in an early years setting is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
Required SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, a nurturing and patient personality, strong organisational skills, ability to work as part of a team, passion for early childhood education.
