HR Business Partner / HR Advisor
Location: Prescot | Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 | Hours: 37.5 hours per week


About the Role
We are seeking a confident and resilient HR Business Partner / HR Advisor to join an established HR function supporting an environmentally focused, values-led organisation.
This is a stand-alone HR role working across different site, working closely with a wider HR team based elsewhere. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide day-to-day HR support across a fast-paced business of circa 600 employees, acting as a trusted adviser to managers and employees to approx 300 employees across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities will include:
*Act as the site-based HR lead, working confidently and independently
*Provide practical, legally compliant HR advice to managers and employees
*Supporting the sites to manage employee relations matters including absence, disciplinaries and grievances
*Support recruitment activity across the business, including shortlisting and interviews
About You:
*Proven experience in an HR Advisor / HR Officer / HR Business Partner role
*Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
*Confident, resilient and comfortable working autonomously
*Experienced in advising managers at all levels
*Organised, professional and solutions-focused
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required
