Lead Product Owner - Claims: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Product Owner in the Claims function on a 12 month secondment, working across Ageas and esure platforms. This role is central to the ongoing transformation of claims, leading the development and optimisation of end to end customer and supplier journeys that deliver clear value for customers and the business.

Reporting to the Claims Transformation Director, you will own the claims product strategy, setting clear priorities and driving delivery through Agile squads. You will work closely with Claims, Technology, agile squads and enterprise teams to ensure initiatives are customer centric, data led and aligned to business strategy and regulatory requirements.

This secondment offers a unique opportunity to operate at senior level within a complex, regulated environment, influencing outcomes at scale while helping to create brilliant customer experiences across the Ageas / esure partnership.


Main Responsibilities:
*Own and deliver the product strategy for the Claims domain, aligned to customer needs, business objectives and regulatory requirements

*Lead product discovery, using customer research, testing and insight to shape priorities and solutions

*Create, prioritise and manage the product backlog, defining clear initiatives, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria

*Drive data led decision making through analytics, experimentation and continuous review of outcomes and benefits

*Lead and motivate cross functional Agile squads to deliver high quality customer and business outcomes

*Build strong relationships across Claims, Technology and wider esure / Ageas teams to ensure end to end alignment

*Set and track product OKRs, manage dependencies and risks, and support effective change and release delivery
Skills and experience:
*Proven experience leading high performing product teams and owning product strategy within a complex environment

*Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, with experience working on large scale initiatives using Scrum and DevOps

*End to end product delivery experience, from discovery through to delivery, measurement and optimisation

*Data driven mindset, with experience using customer research, insight and analytics to inform decisions

*Ability to understand complex claims business processes and their up and downstream considerations, and balance technical understanding with commercial acumen

*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence to challenge, influence and develop others
