*Credit Control experience essential
This is a hands-on, end-to-end credit control role, ideal for someone confident chasing debt, resolving queries and building strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.
?? The role You’ll be responsible for:
*Proactively managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment
*Chasing overdue debt by telephone and email
*Investigating and resolving invoice and payment disputes
*Monitoring and managing customer credit limits
*Carrying out credit checks on new and existing accounts
*Placing accounts on stop / suspension in line with procedures
*Liaising with external solicitors or debt recovery agencies when required
*Maintaining accurate records of all credit control activity
*Supporting month end reporting and providing analysis where needed
What we’re looking for *Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Credit Control role
*Strong knowledge of end-to-end credit control processes
*Confident communicator with a professional but firm approach
*Highly organised, detail-focused and resilient
*Comfortable managing a changing workload and collection targets
*Strong Excel and general IT skills
