This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a strategically critical product area at the intersection of science, data and AI. You will build and lead a new UK-based product team, shaping AI enabled products that directly support drug discovery and scientific decision making at scale.

Molecule design is a core strategic pillar, central to accelerating discovery timelines and improving research productivity.
The Role
As Product Director for Molecule Design, you will define and lead the product vision, strategy and delivery for a portfolio of AI powered scientific products. You will play a key role in scaling the UK product organisation and shaping how AI is embedded into scientific workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
*Setting the product vision and roadmap for molecule design tools and platforms.
*Building, hiring and mentoring a high performing UK based product team.
*Driving AI enabled product development across compound design, optimisation and evaluation.
*Partnering closely with scientific, engineering and data teams to deliver impactful products.
*Supporting organisational growth and restructuring by establishing clear product leadership.
*Ensuring products integrate effectively with complex scientific and molecular datasets.
Your Skills & Experience
*Strong experience leading technical or platform product teams.
*A background in scientific environments such as pharma, biotech or drug discovery.
*Exposure to AI, machine learning or data driven products in production.
*The ability to operate credibly with scientists, engineers and senior stakeholders.
*Experience mentoring, managing or leading other product managers.
*A blend of strategic thinking and hands on product execution.
*An academic or professional background aligned to life sciences, computer science, chemistry or related fields, with experience outweighing formal qualifications.
