This role offers hands-on exposure to month end, reporting and analysis, working closely with an experienced Financial Controller — ideal for someone AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA / CIMA who wants a clear route toward full qualification.

?? The role You’ll support the wider finance function with:

*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Posting month end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
*Balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis
*Fixed asset register maintenance
*Supporting budgets, forecasts and cash flow
*Assisting with AP/AR, bank reconciliations and VAT returns
*Involvement in audit prep, systems and process improvements
This is a broad role that goes beyond transaction processing and gives exposure to the full accounting cycle.

What we’re looking for *Studying or willing to study AAT / ACCA / CIMA
*1-3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
*Confident with double-entry and month end
*Strong Excel skills (PivotTables / XLOOKUP beneficial)
*Proactive, organised and keen to develop
