About the Business
We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturing business in Coventry. Working alongside the leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the finance function while leading and developing your own team.
Main Duties:
As a Financial Controller, your main duties include:
*Partner with Finance and Management teams to provide support
*Deliver accurate and timely corporate and internal financial reporting
*Lead, develop, and support direct reports, contributing to succession planning
*Perform SOX compliance testing and balance sheet reconciliations
*Prepare and present key financial statements, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
*Oversee month-end close processes, including variance analysis and forecasting
*Monitor and manage key financial KPIs, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
*Identify and implement improvements to financial controls and business processes
*Liaise with external auditors to support year-end and interim audit processes
*Undertake ad hoc duties as required
