Description
*Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
*Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making across the business.
*Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
*Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
*Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
*Monitor and improve financial controls and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
*Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
*Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
*Professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience within Accounting & Finance.
*Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis within the retail industry.
*Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
