About the Role
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Essex & Suffolk Water for a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you’ll play a key role in ensuring customers receive timely assistance with water leak issues.
Key Responsibilities
*Proactively contact customers who have previously reported water leaks
*Check in to confirm whether issues have been resolved
*Provide clear guidance and support to customers on resolving minor leaks where appropriate
*Escalate unresolved issues by raising tickets for engineering teams
*Accurately update customer records and maintain detailed notes of interactions
*Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism at all times
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience in a customer service role (contact centre experience desirable)
*Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
*A problem-solving mindset with the ability to guide customers through solutions
*Good attention to detail and administrative skills
*Comfortable using multiple systems and updating records in real time
*A positive, team-oriented attitude
