About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Social Sciences to join a thriving secondary school in Loughborough. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a successful and supportive Humanities/Social Sciences department.
This role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs who are committed to delivering high-quality education across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential). Subjects may include Psychology, Sociology, or Health & Social Care.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging and inclusive Social Sciences lessons across the curriculum

*Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with national curriculum standards

*Foster critical thinking, analysis, and an understanding of society and human behaviour

*Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

*Contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives

Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*Specialism in a relevant Social Science subject (e.g. Psychology, Sociology, Health & Social Care)

*Strong classroom management skills

*A passion for teaching and student achievement
