Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy and well-organised warehouse team based in Winnersh. This is a full-time, weekday role offering competitive hourly pay and stable working hours.
The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations, ensuring goods are handled, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
*Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
*Receiving and checking incoming goods against delivery notes
*Loading and unloading deliveries
*Operating warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks – FLT if trained)
*Organising stock and maintaining accurate inventory records
*Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times
*Following health & safety procedures and company standards
*Supporting colleagues to meet daily operational targets
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential
*Good attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
*Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
*Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
*Good timekeeping and a positive, reliable attitude
*Basic literacy and numeracy skills
FLT licence is an advantage but not required.
