Software Test Engineer (Simulation / Systems)

Salary from £42,000 – £50,000 + bonus + overtime + pension + flexi-leave

This one sits at the centre of real systems, simulation, and cutting-edge defence technology, where what you test actually matters.


You’ll be working inside a highly advanced digital battlespace environment, integrating and testing complex software that simulates real-world weapon systems. It’s hands-on, fast-moving, and gives you exposure across the full lifecycle, not just a small slice of it.


You’ll plan, run, and analyse software testing activities, investigate issues, and work closely with engineers, partners, and end users to ensure systems perform when it counts.

What you’ll bring:
*Experience in software or systems testing, ideally within complex environments
*Python scripting for analysis, automation, or tooling
*Understanding of verification & validation, systems proving, or similar
*Exposure to Agile, CI/CD, or modern development environments
*ISTQB: Software testing certifications
