Vivid Healthcare are working with a specialist service in Southampton seeking a Locum Occupational Therapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation. This role sits within a dedicated neuro rehab team, supporting patients with complex neurological conditions to maximise independence and function.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, goal oriented environment alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities*Managing a caseload of patients with neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, brain injury, MS)
*Delivering specialist neuro rehab interventions
*Completing detailed functional, cognitive, and perceptual assessments
*Goal setting and treatment planning in line with rehab pathways
*Upper limb rehabilitation and splinting (where applicable)
*Discharge planning and community reintegration support
*Working collaboratively within an MDT (Physio, Speech & Language Therapy, Neuropsychology)
*Maintaining accurate clinical records
Requirements*HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
*Proven experience within neuro rehabilitation
*Experience working with stroke and/or brain injury patients
*Strong understanding of cognitive and perceptual impairments
*Ability to manage complex caseloads independently
*NHS experience preferred
