Vivid Healthcare are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a busy inpatient therapy unit in Southampton. This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient centred care across an acute or rehab setting.
You will play a key role in facilitating safe and timely discharges, completing functional assessments, and supporting patients to regain independence.
Key Responsibilities*Managing a caseload of patients within an inpatient setting
*Completing functional and cognitive assessments
*Developing and implementing treatment plans
*Discharge planning, including home assessments where required
*Equipment provision and recommendations
*Working closely with MDT colleagues including Physios, Nurses, and Social Workers
*Accurate and timely documentation
Requirements*HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
*Previous inpatient / acute / rehab experience
*Strong discharge planning skills
*Confident working independently and within an MDT
*NHS experience preferred
